All of the photos in this post are courtesy of Lori (except the last three). She is an awesome photographer, so I'm grateful she is so willing to share. These next two photos were taken from the top floor of our condo building. I love the color of the ocean.
In the bottom right hand corner of this picture, you can see the boys playing in the sand.
The building below is our condo. We loved being right on the beach.
This was on the way to Ensenada.
Ensenada is about an hour south of Rosarito. It is a cruise-ship port town, so it was nice and touristy. This woman was selling her wares--I love this picture!
Thug life.
It was so fun to be serenaded while we ate dinner.
On our last night we had a fire on the beach and set off some Mexican fireworks to celebrate the new year. Things got way more exciting than we bargained for when a firework exploded in Brandon's hand.
We got to visit this place...
...and we feel so grateful that no one else was burned, and it was only a hand, not a face, and that the burns did not go through all the skin layers, so nothing more than pain killers and burn cream were needed.
Ouchy!
Thankfully, it's all healed, now. Okay, let's end this post with something nice...
Ahhh, that's better.
