Soccer 2011

Eggs on Toast and Junior got to be on the same soccer team this Fall. I love it when that happens.

They played hard and had a lot of fun.

Summer Sports

Junior has been playing T-ball this summer.

Eggs on Toast is on a Coach Pitch team this year.

Eggs is lucky to have his best friend on his team.

Both boys said that their favorite part about it is the treats they get after each game. Excluding that, they both love batting. Buttermilk Sky said, "It feels real good when you hit a good one."

Gymnastics

Buttermilk Sky tried gymnastics this winter.



He had a lot of sore muscles.






And sometimes a sore face and head.

Ouch!

Little Dodgers

Eggs on Toast and Junior had their first T-ball game a couple of Saturdays ago. They are on the same team, the Little Dodgers, and they are loving it.

Here is Eggs, working really hard, fielding on first.

Oh, well, I guess the traffic is slow over on third.

You know, the nice thing about T-ball is you get to hit, run, and field, and there is still plenty of time left over to pick at your lips. (Luckily, he wasn't picking something else.)

And there's plenty of time to mess around with whoever is on third.

Or just plain mess around.

Basketball

Buttermilk Sky has a good basketball team and coach this year. Though I don't think it's very nice to complain about the volunteer coaches, I feel compelled to mention that his coach last year held only two practices the entire time. (I guess I'm still a little irritated.) His coach this year holds practices every week and really works with the boys. Isn't that nice? Volunteer coaches like that really deserve something nice. I don't know what, but something.

Buttermilk Sky works really hard on defense. He stays with his man and keeps his arms up.

And look! He stole the ball! Woohoo! Right on!

Buttermilk Sky began this season fairly shy of the ball so I was impressed to see him handling the ball so much in this game.
